　今年もヨコエビの新種です。

　1月にクラゲノミ亜目の新種，7,12月にワレカラの新種が記載されていますが、あえて追っていません。

　トルコの洞窟からヨコエビ属 Gammarus の1新種を記載。形態に加えてミトコンドリア遺伝子COI領域，28S領域の解析も行って同属他種との関係を示しています。本文まで無料で読めます。

Ariyama and Mori (2022)

クダヨコエビ Scutischyrocerus japonicus　

　長崎からカマキリヨコエビ科 Ischyroceridae の１新種を記載。日本と縁が薄く和名がなかった Scutischyrocerus にクダヨコエビ属との和名を提唱しています。

　また、これまでユンボソコエビ科 Aoridae コンピラソコエビ属 Lembos に含まれていたノゾキコンピラソコエビをカマカヨコエビ科 Kamakidae のルドワイエヨコエビ属 Ledoyerella に移動させるとともに、中国で記載された別の種もルドワイエヨコエビ属に含めています。本文は無料で読めます。

　熊野灘からドロノミ属の1新種を記載。この属はオーストラリアから記載され、スベスベな種のみからなる単型分類群と思われていましたが、北西太平洋から続々とトゲトゲな種が記載され、デフォルトはトゲトゲであるとみなされるようになっています。また、本種の記載により属の構成種の過半数が日本から得られるに至っています。本文は無料で読めます。

Hyalella yashmara

　ペルーの温泉から Hyalella属の1新種を記載。広島大学のプレリリを受けて国内のメディアでも取り上げられ、海外のマイナー小型甲殻類の話題ながら、まあまあ盛り上がりました。

　この本でも触れられていましたが、甲殻類の中でも指折りの高熱耐性をもつ、かなりの変わり者です。記載に加えて、分子系統解析に基づいてヒアレラ科の分散シナリオに新たな仮説を提示しています。本文は有料。

Amathillopsis colemani

　メキシコ湾の水深1200mの深海から、リュウコツヨコエビ科 Amathillopsidae の1新種を記載。第4～7胸脚の腕節より先が欠損しているあまり状態のよくない標本に基づいています。昨年引退したヨコエビ研究の大家・チャールズ・オリバー・コールマンに献名されていますが、特にこの種と直接の関係はないようです。記載文や所見の構成がごちゃごちゃしていてちょっと読みにくいです。本文は無料で読めます。

カイゾクワレカラドロノミ Capropodocerus tagamaru

オオガマワレカラドロノミ Capropodocerus kamaitachi

　熊野灘および宮城県沖から、ドロノミ科 Podoceridae の1新属2新種を記載。巨大な咬脚を具える強壮な上半身と不釣り合いに見える華奢な下半身が目を引く珍種で、ずっと気になっていただけに出版されて安心しました。C. tagamaru の種小名は紀伊で活躍した海賊・多賀丸に、C. kamaitachi の種小名は妖怪・鎌鼬に、それぞれ因んでいるようです。本文は有料。

　イランの洞窟から Tegano属の1新種を記載。洞窟性らしく無眼のようです。形態と分子を用いた記載です。

　ちなみにこの属の状況について、唯一の本邦既知種であるシオダマリメリタ T. shiodamari との関係を見ると、どうやら多系統なようです。これらの種の属位は暫定とみなければならないようです。

　沖縄トラフの熱水噴出孔からツノフトソコエビモドキ属の１新種を記載。ボリュームは少ないものの形態と分子の双方を検討しており、近縁7種との遺伝的距離も掲載。本文まで無料で読めます。

　タイのメークロン川からホソツツムシ属 Cerapus の1新種を記載。雌雄の付属肢を全部描画するという手間の掛けぶりが白眉です。また、胸脚のアンフィポッドシルク出糸口をSEM撮影するとともに、造管行動や交尾前ガード行動の画像および動画を提供しています。全世界のホソツツムシ属25種の検索表も提供。本文まで無料で読めます。

ヤドカリヨコエビ Isaea concinnoides

　だいぶ前から鳥羽水族館が報じていた、熊野灘産・ヨコヤホンヤドカリPropagurus obtusifrons に付着する未記載のタテソコエビとイシクヨコエビが、やっと新種記載されました。Metopelloides属にヤドカリタテソコエビ属，Isaea属にヤドカリヨコエビ属との和名を提唱しています。ヤドカリタテソコエビ属５種，ヤドカリヨコエビ属4種の検索表を提供。有山 (2022) において2022年夏ごろに出ると予告されていた、ジェームス・ケネス・ロウリー追悼論文集に掲載。

　マラッカ海峡の潮間帯からタテソコエビ属の１新種を記載。オス第2咬脚が細長く掌縁が直線的ないわゆる gallensis グループです。東南アジア産タテソコエビ属5種の形態の幅をマトリクスに整理しています。ロウリー追悼論文集に掲載。

　なお、本論文で Chroestia属はハマトビムシ亜科 Talitrinae となっていますが、Lowry and Myers (2022) で Platorchestinae亜科とされており、その後移動を明示する記述はありません。定義上、形態的に識別不可能なので当然といえば当然ですが…。

　ネヴァダ州からヒアレラ属 Hyalella の1新種を記載。本属において新北区から得られた初の地下水系種とのこと。本文は有料。

Demaorchestia alanensis

　ヒメハマトビムシ種群の隠蔽種をインドから記載。Demaorchestia属の記録はインド初、最西端の分布のようです。ただし、本属は形態的にも遺伝的にも裏付けに乏しく、将来的に Platorchestia属あたりのジュニアシノニムとして抹消される公算大とみられます。

　この属の設立者であり、近年ハマトビムシ類の形態分類を意欲的に行っているアラン・マイヤースに種小名が献名されています。しかし、献名の理由については論文中で「端脚類界隈で有名だから」という雑な説明がされ、かつ語尾も場所を示す不適切な形がとられていて、粗さが目立ちます。本文は有料。
